Mabye the classic songs..
Mabye. Scare yourself, Sleeping, and bad Crazi

yeah i agree, Sleepin they have to play ;) ... scare yourself and bad Cray is on the top 10 of ass kicking songs they´have made, so they have to get in ;)

or maybe they did something they've been a couple of times lately - inventive!! And played something entirely different!! Could be nice!
I must be one of the only ones who's tired of listening to the 10 minutes version of sleeping every time, and that Bad Crai always is towards the end... AND that It's after dark ends every show..
DAD should show a lot more faith in their new music and play a lot more songs from EG, SD, SY... My opinion...

Im not tired of it, but yes your right "onlyrock", maybe songs like: HomeAlone, Simpatico, Ill Will, ZCMI, As common as OR WHY NOT TRY Johny, Rin tin tin:)

OnlyRock, I completely agree and I've been saying the same thing for a long time. If they stopped playing Sleeping My Day Away, I Won't Cut My Hair and It's After Dark for a while, I'd consider going to their concerts more than once every other year.
Oh, and if they need to play Sleeping My Day Away and I Won't Cut My Hair, please keep them to three or four minutes each. One amazing drum solo is great. Four is redundant and stupid.
Sorry if that offends anyone.
EDIT: Oh, and I have no idea what they played at the show.

Don't know what they played at the Arnold Show..
But I agree: Sleeping my day away has become kind of boring..
By the way, think about this: The audience is yelling at D-A-D before a concert.. Suddenly the guys are storming the scene with Jesper screaming in front, and then Cobber starts the Bad Craziness-riff.. I would love that song to be "the starter".

Bad Craziness was the show starter in Frederikshavn 2004.

Lasse Damgaard & Crappe
Thought I was the only one who had these thoughts... hehe.
It could be great if they played some songs they never played so much before live... Really cool when they had Makin fun of money along this year for example...
I would just really like to go to a DAD concert where they would suprise the hell out of me, like they did in 2002 in Forum, with a BIG screen behind them, and then when they closed it all with Human kind, while a candle was slowly burning on the big screen... IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! BEST DAD concert EVER!

Hmm... In Slagelse 2000, they didn't play Sleeping...
But I guess they have to think about the audience, which don't know that much of the songs, that we do. My sister forexample; she knows the songs she hears in the radio; the classic ones. When she goes to a concert with me, she only think it's funny when they play Bad Craziness, Sleeping, Jihad etc. Okay, I think she can handle a few not-known-that-well-songs.. but if there's too many she'll think it's kind a boring.
If they didn't play the classics, it would be like if Lars Lilholt didn't play "Kald det Kærlighed" and "Onkel Christian" Oh my God, if Lilholt didn't play these songs I don't know what to do

I don't think that sleeping is boring..it never gets boring..but i can agree that they mayby should play a little more not so known songs..but i think that they have started to do that a bit..for exemple, they didn't play Little addict that much at all before..and thats a really good song
Posted: Wed, 2006-10-11 12:19
But they most have songs like sleeping in the konserts..it's a big hit so it's good that it is in the konserts

I would do everything to see Jacketless in December and Rather live than die LIVE.. Even shit my pants in front of my whole gym'..
Posted: Wed, 2006-10-11 17:59
Jacketless in 2000 was BRILLIANT!!! With the snow and so on!
I just think DAD should trust a lot more in all the songs they have, instead of playing the SAME every time almost.. They have so many good songs, which they never play! SOOO sad.... DAD is the best rock band in DK, but soon they have to do something to keep that position safe...

I'm not saying they shouldn't play I Won't Cut My Hair, Sleeping My Day Away and It's After Dark, I know that's what people want to hear and they're the reason 85% of the crowd is there. I just want them to cut them down to four or five minute songs instead of these guitar and drum solo marathons that they've become.
Also, there's a lot of songs that I'd like to hear, but none that I'd shit my pants in public for. Except maybe Cloudy Hours.

I think they should keep bad crazii and Sleep in the setlist and make some other surprises but not take the originals out..
Posted: Wed, 2006-10-11 23:08
Crappe: You should have seen them on their Everything Shows tour.. no Sleeping My Day Away (in fact not in Slagelse).. but Jacketless in December.. and it snowed... but it wasn't easy to sing along... the snow was made of soap... (if you didn't know..)

i don't mind if they had Sleeping and Bad Crai in the beginning of the show or something... BUT I do mind, that everytime they play a concert it has to end with IT'S AFTER DARK.... I wouldn't mind if they took that song out... or played it in the middle with piano... or SOMETHING... JUST NOT at the end... When they played Human kind in 2002, it was and STILL is one of the most beautiful endings of a concert I've ever seen!
Posted: Thu, 2006-10-12 00:50
If they play It's after Dark, it has to be the ending song.. You can't sing "It's after Dark and Disneyland is closed" in the middle of the setlist!!
Posted: Fri, 2006-10-13 15:39
Could be great if they put BC or Sleeping in the middle or beginning of the setlist...try something new, instead of always knowing what the 4-5 last songs are. It's great to hear the less known, but really good songs, live, like Makin' fun of money, overmuch ect.
Posted: Fri, 2006-10-13 16:04
Mia - i Can't se why you can't sing that... it's just a lyric... Or you can't play a song which is called "Goodbye", in the middle of a set?? All I'm saying - place it somewhere new, or not at all...
And Keller, i agree with you! It could be nice to hear them maybe between the first 4-5 songs in a set...

I agree. It would be nice with some changes. Sleeping is, after my opinion, a bit too long. It's not my favorite, but of course a very popular song. As some of you have mentioned, songs like Jacketless in December and Rather Live Than Die are amazing. There's just something 'bout them. I would cry my eyes out, if they played Jacketless - if I'm not dehydrated at that time! ;) I remember the concert in Forum in Horsens, where they played the Hate To Say piano version for the first time. I was SO touched, and I would have cried a bit if I wasn't as dehydrated as I was.
But.. It would be cool if they played songs like Rock River, Naked (but still stripping), As Common As and all the other good oldies!
Posted: Fri, 2006-10-13 17:30
I would really like of they played It'swhenit'swrongit'sright, Candid, simpatico and last chance to change.. that would really give a big ROCK N' ROLL kick..!
Posted: Fri, 2006-10-13 20:19
Holm C, the two songs from HELPYOUR... i would also like to hear.. Simpatico i've heard a lot live too and last chance to change just isn't that great a song...
I miss some of the songs from SD.. Truth about you, What's the matter, Hey little airplane...
Posted: Sun, 2006-10-15 00:39
I miss "Whats the matter" live SO MUCH! It was sooo cool when they played it at the soft dogs tour..... A cool song where they improvised a lot
Posted: Sun, 2006-10-15 13:19
Isn't this getting a bit off topic?
Posted: Sun, 2006-10-15 15:29
You bet Klaus.. Well anyone who knows what they played?? :-D:-D
