They are as far as i can see a band from poland and they have been around since at least 1993 so they probably didn´t know about D-A-D back then. They could have been around as DAD even back in the Disneyland After dark-days so, maby they were first?

maybe they are called DAD and not d-a-d and that means something in polish perhaps? dunno...

actually it's a czech band and not polish...I remember hearing of them once before.... and I doubt they copied D-A-D's name, but of course anything's possible... after all kashmir used to call themselves nirvana

In this bandname 'DAD' is a word. Without any - . or : things in between. D-A-D is not a word but a shortening! So i guess that nomatter what, they can't say anything about it

now isnt THAT wild? i dont think they ment to copy, someone would know. but it is indeed kinda crazy that they call themselves D.A.D. and they look like rockers as well.
i think its funny, ill use that as a "did you know that?".. czech band called D.A.D :P
