Thank you all!
Yeah, it was great, but in DK we have this... 'we probably didn't deserve it', 'actually the other team was better, but we were lucky' a.s.o. - Well, maybe that's how it was - but I couldn't care less! - WE WON! - In '92 it was the same right up to the final 'haha we can't beat Germany' 'it's not fair' - For me a winner who has beaten all the other teams they met is a fair winner.

Good luck to your countries when it's their turn smiley

Oh, don't remind me of '92. In our (German) history books this never happend smiley

Kidding aside, after yesterday I'm not so sure anymore that the two "favourites" (which definitely is Germany and Holland in this group) will go through into the next round. It seems there's a few surprises waitng around the corner.

The danish euro 92 team also took a day off, went to the swimming pool and had lunch at McDonald's. Indeed a soccer-fairytale

Or maybe that is what really works, instead of training all the time, maybe they should just hang by the pool and eat mcD. If they makes win anyway. That way they would also avoid all the injuries.. This should be their new strategy; Hamburgers and pools! smiley

One of my buddies was in Roskilde that day Denmark beats Germany in 1992,and D-A-D also was.He told me, that (of course) all the danes were flipping out and after the game Jesper hits the stage ,singing:"Deutschland,Deutschland, alles ist vorbei!"(Germany,Germany,it`s all over!)I´m very sorry that I missed that,I wish I had a recording of that song...

Aaaarghhhhhh, time to throw all my D-A-D records in the bin now smiley. Must have been a great moment for the Roskilde crowd though......

I remember the day of the Euro-final four years later. I was at the Bon Jovi concert in Frankfurt and no one had any clue about the result over in Wembley. The band kept playing and playing for nearly three hours (thanks to the extra time in Wembley I guess) and before the last encore Jon came on stage in a German football dress and said: "Germany 2, Czech 1"

I never heard another crowd roar like this ever again. Great memories..........

Yesssss - the most important match of the tournament won smiley We've beaten Holland and that's all that matters. I don't care anymore who becomes Euro-Champion. I'm hoping for a draw against Denmark and then Holland is definitely OUT. I will go to bed tonight smiling.........
