Friday 12th Woke up with the family but straight to bed again for a healthy and healing 3-hour nap. Arrive with another handful of ideas and being generally impatient and interfering as I usually am :-) – Fortunately we have worked together for 3 months now and Joshua has got used to this part of the job and here at the tenth mix he has outdone himself again and it sounds very good and crunchy –....He thinks there's a single background voice missing though – puts up a microphone and pushes me in front of it – luckily, and with good timing, Laust shows up and takes over the work – this is better and much faster than if Joshua were to guide me through thirds and fifths....I'm obviously best at the raw emotions...Cobber shows up and the 3 of us praise Joshua.... Went back home to the family for a meal. Right back in the studio around 10 PM where Joshua is still polishing – everything sounds fantastic and I leave around 1 feeling quite assured that "Nightmares In The Daytime" is now the one closest to become a 1st single...
