So, both C'hagen shows are over and there is no comment in here ! No postings, no new thread, no comments. That's really disappointing my dear netpets.........

How was the shows ? How long did they play ? Any surprises in the setlist (I saw the setlist of 13.04. and it was the same as before)?

Can anyone please let us, who couldn't have been there, know as soon as you have all sobered up ?.

Heartfelt thanks.

Longhorn

I saw the show 14/4 - and it was 4 out of 6 stars. The good things:
- moments where it was class #1 performence e.g. the guitar play of Cobber, and the party starter Jesper --> Laust always good.
The bad things: there were songs were there were too many playing errors - and Jesper were in too many times off pitch -> seems it is very difficult to do the new songs live. And then there was Stig who have turned himself into a slow working zombie.

However - all in all it was worth the money and I was well entertained. But they have been touring for 5 month now and I was just hoping that they were knife sharp - which they were not.

I will be going for the tivoli show 1/6 and see if some time off will bring them knife sharp (again)

I was there saturday night. It was a good show, but the crowd was a little dull. Jesper tried to get the crowd fired up, due to the concert being recorded.
No surprises in the setlist, which I think is a bit of a shame. It would be nice to have a little surprise or two. Nice to finally hear Gods favourite and Lords of the Atlas live, though.
My two cents.

I was there both days and as far as I remember, they made some small changes between friday and saturday.. First of all there wasn't any intro with "hvem er bange for den store, stygge ulv" melody, and I think they made a slight chance in the intro to sleeping my day away..
Friday was definitely more insane, but then again friday was sold out saturday wasn't, and I actually think that you could feel the difference, because it wasn't as hot and there were remarkably more room on the floor..
But does anyone know why the concert was being recorded on saturday?

All in all an amazing DAD-weekend, and I can't to see them again! smiley

as mentioned eailer I only saw the saturday show. As this day was an extra show - I guess that the hard core fans were there on friday and the rest of us who could no decide were there on saturday.

Anyway as you were there both days! --> did they not record on friday.
I think that it is classic to record on both days in order to select the best performance for eash song. As the guys had many playing and pitch errors on saturday I guess it is more real to switch between the two days instead of rerecord in studio later on (as they did at the Roskilde Festival recording -- espeacially in "Hey Now" where you hear the bass play while Stig is clapping his hands !?!)

That's exactly what's funny, because they didn't record the show on friday. But I guess there's nothing left to do but wait and see what's gonna happen with the recording.
Was it the only concert of the tour you've seen?

I was there friday and it was great!!!
The sound wasn't too good where I was sitting - yes, sitting smiley
But the crowd on the floor was amazing to look at. The audience was realy exited.
And especielly Jesper seems to be on fire. It was so nice to see the band again.
All in all I would give it 4 stars out of 6 mainly because of the jarring sound.

I was there on both nights. In my opinion they did exellent on both nights ( but I allways think they do great - it's been like that since '86, so maybe I'm not the right person to ask/answer..) My only problem is that I have a V-E-R-Y hard time accepting that, the people all the way up front is irretated by my singing and dancing I know that my singing lacks alot, nearly everything, but it's a fn' rock concert!!! Don't headbutt, and shove me around because I'm having a good time...!!!!!!
I took my usual place @ Cobber's side of the stage, and it seemed like I was the only one partying there on both nights - a cryin' shame! I'm glad to hear that the seated people could see other dancing-happy-alongsinging-maniacs from the balcony - 'cuz I didn't come upon them on the floor.

I think the setlist was the same on both nights, I have a hard time remembering exact details due to the fact that the beer was running fast..

Worn and torn, neckpains and wiltered long hair, clothes that smell like sweat, smoke and beer - it's all signs that I had a G-R-E-A-T time two days in a row!!

A.

I was there on Friday. By mistake we arrived far too late. I remember entering and making my way through the crowd when the band played Bad Craziness (I think, but I could be wrong) and was surprised that they played this song so early in the set (doh). Again, I might not remember the right song when we entered.

I thought they were really good, but the concert was a little bummed for me because we came late.

Anders, I actually saw you after the gig, but you were in a group of people talking and I was too shy to butt in and say hi. I wish we could have seen the concert together because besides my friends then I also felt a little like I was the only one clearly having a good time and I was definitely the only one headbanging.

The best concert this year was the release concert in Stengade (also the only other concert I have seen this year). I kind of wish that I had went to Falconer Salen on Saturday as well even though the reviews are mixed. But alas, the finances must be taken into consideration too.
